A Little About me...

Hi!  I'm Jessie Kane, and I am a licensed Massage Therapist based in Columbia Falls, MT.  I grew up in Missouri, where I fell in love with the beauty and magic of the Ozarks.  Upon discovering that there was a degree I could earn that allowed me to be outside most of the time, I was well on my way to earning my BS in Forestry from the University of Missouri - Columbia.  I spent many years post-graduation traveling and working around the western part of the United States.  From New Mexico up to Alaska I worked in nature and helped others learn about, fall in love with and experience her wonder.  In 2006 I came to the Flathead Valley and knew I'd finally found home when I walked through the Cedar Grove in Glacier National Park.

By 2009, I was seeking a more hands-on way to help and serve others.  After working in a natural food store for a few years I had learned a lot about nutrition and supplements, but sought a more hands-on approach to be able to help people manage their pain.  I enrolled in massage school that fall, and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010 when I graduated from the Montana School of Massage in Missoula, Montana.

After working for a salon in Missoula I decided to following my passion for helping others and returned to the Montana School of Massage as a Professional Therapist, Teaching Assistant and Tutor.  In 2013, we returned to the Flathead Valley and I took some time off to raise my two beautiful girls.  I had a wonderful experience working for a successful Salon and Spa in Kalispell before I decided to move my business closer to home.  While trained in a number of areas, I specialize in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point massage and am also a certified Reiki Practitioner.

I feel a sense of fulfillment when I can help my clients decrease their pain and stress levels and they leave feeling relaxed, calm and renewed. There are few things worse than living in constant pain or under high levels of stress, though both happen to people on a daily basis.   I believe that we as a society have forgotten the importance of self care.  Self care is valid and necessary for us to meet our highest potential.  We must put some energy back into ourselves every once in awhile to keep ourselves functioning.  We don't think twice about maintaining our vehicles on a regular basis, and yet we sometimes find it hard to justify maintaining ourselves.  Yes, a great massage can be a treat, but many people find that it is a regular part of their self care routine.   It is important to me that my massage room be a safe space where people can finally exhale, relax and heal.  Be it a regularly scheduled  massage or a stroll through a sacred grove of cedars, find that act of self care that works best for you.

You are worthy of it and you deserve it!
